I think there's a very good possibility this is the case, and it helps explain which 'major character' will be knocked off in the next book, and closest to my heart, leaves the door open for Snape's redemption and reconcilliation with Harry. I give it a much higher chance than 10:1. But most of all, I think this brilliant author should be spending his/her obvious intellect and time on something reeal like curing cancer, or figuring out how to stop domestic violence, tutoring underprivlege childtren, or making constant, passionate love to her/his huband/wife. This goes for you, too Horcrux Citizen. I think this is brilliant. There is a lot of curcumstantial evidence that could be interpreted as MM being a death eater. Farther more, I think that there is a high chance that one of the people thought to be good, will turn out a death eater and it won't be Snape. I am pretty sure I can rule out Hagrid, Trelawney, Weasleys, Lupin, Tonks and Moody. But it's open season for the rest.
